Help with gassy baby

My baby is 7 weeks old and is extremely gassy. Her diet is exclusively breastmilk and she breastfeeds most of the day. Her dad gives her a bottle of pumped breastmilk in the morning so I can sleep in a little. She hates bicycle kicks. She stiffens her legs so I cant do them She gets mylicon drops every 2-3 hours after feeds and at bedtime We burp her at every feeding too but I dont always get a satisfying burp even when trying for 15 mins. I cant help but wonder where this gas is coming from? If her latch causing air to come in? Is it my diet? Does anyone know any other exercises or tricks to get her some relief?

My baby is gassy also. I learnt it could be as a result of poor latching or baby rushing while feeding ( because it difficult for them to suck and breath at the same time, a baby that's in a hurry eventually swallows air through the mouth. My little one latches well but rushes when bottle feeding.

Try gripe water and hold her close to your chest and bend forward slowly and then sit back up the movement is large for a baby so it makes them burp. She also might be lactose intolerant. You might also need to sit her up for 20 min after feeding.

My baby is the same and it’s his latch. Mylicon plus a lactation consultant saved us. We also sit him on our lap in a supported squat after each feed (with our knees up to support) and it helps a LOT. I did end up giving up dairy and he seems to have a cows milk protein allergy

I do the gripe water from wellements and my baby calms down right away. Also try supported deep squats if she hates bicycle kicks
