I know you said about bloods being ok but I was the same and then when they re checked they said my iron level was borderline towards low however my midwife ok’d it as it hadn’t gone past what was considered low. They said it should have been picked up. Maybe re check your blood levels with your midwife? I always felt dizzy. Good Luck! X
I've been feeling quite light headed too... Especially when I'm hungry! Just make sure you have a decent breakfast with plenty of protein! A bowl of cereal just doesn't cut it for me anymore!
Could be worth getting checked out for low blood pressure as well just to be sure it’s not that. I had an episode of it a few weeks ago and symptoms were very similar to low blood sugar episodes.
How's your blood pressure?
So I’ve checked my BP at my dads and it’s normal 120/73. I now have a horrid headache too! And feel absolutely exhausted! Maybe I’m just sick? Idk!
you can develop GD, so just because 4 weeks ago you were fine doesn’t mean that you are now! always ring your midwife and i’d ask for your bloods to be checked again. could be nothing, but a lady i know who is pregnant also just got diagnosed with late onset GD at 36 weeks, even though she had 3 previous GTT tests as she had GD in a previous pregnancy. I would definitely ring the community midwife asap to get booked in as if it is GD, you want to be managing it sooner rather than later. and if it isn’t, whatever it is will still be better if sorted quickly xxx
Do you have a blood glucose test monitor at home? I also passed 28 week test but am randomly testing my sugar levels. Yesterday I was feeling a bit light headed and checked my levels I've noticed if I don't snack then I feel light headed.
I do! My husband is diabetic so I will check it periodically over the next couple of days
Just checked it now and it’s 8.5
@Aleena I currently have GD and am told when i check my levels it should be under 7.7. if it is consistently high i would give midwife a ring and see if they are concerned xxx
@Ellie-MayI’m going to check again in a couple of hours and if it’s still high give them a call, my husbands diabetic so I’m used to his being 15-20 so I didn’t think it was that bad! Thank you 💕
@Aleena I don’t think it’s terrible at all! but just going off what i have been told to keep mine under with GD ❤️xx
I’d always give the triage line a call if you’re unsure of anything - it could be baby is just having a growth spurt and is demanding more but always best to check b
