Growth Scan

Fundal height measurement is not consistent so I’ve been referred for a growth scan - but I’ve been measured by different midwives and one of them didn’t put measurements between 28-34 weeks onto badger notes which is annoying! Anyone had a growth scan at 37 weeks showing a slightly small baby that could tell me what the usual next steps are? I ask as i had a growth scan at the same time with my first and she was only showing 5lb3. As i had another condition going on (cholestasis) i was induced and i really don’t want that happening again! No other conditions going on atm so im hopeful 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Genuine question, is this your fundal height graph or your growth scan graph? I wouldn't say that's a slightly small baby, 50th centile is bang on? I have been having growth scans every 2 weeks for a while now. I had one at 36 weeks and finally baby picked up a tiny bit after dropping centile at every scan. We went from having an induction this weekend to no induction at all just from a tiny jump in weight. The consultant said as I'm 37 weeks(full term now) and she's finally put on a tiny bit of weight they are just going to leave me alone. At 36 weeks this baby was 4lbs 12. I wouldn't worry too much, all I have to worry about now is movements as baby is tiny and it's anyones guess if she's continued to put on weight or not 😂🫣 I have a full range of clothes sizes to take in

@abi fundal height chart! Not had any growth scans until now. If it makes you feel any better my first was measuring 5lb3 at 37.5 weeks and was born after induction at 6lb just a couple days later! So they’re not too accurate really. Glad to hear you dont need an induction anymore - they seem to be more relaxed with this kind of thing now. I did not have a good time getting induced so really want to avoid it if i can.

@Cesca my first was 7lbs 41+1! We've had fetal medicine specialists checking this one since 25 weeks, the conclusion was I make small babies 🥹 just want to get the child out now 😂 so over it!
