How to do BLW outside the house ?!?!

My 8 month old gets verrry messy every time she eats a meal. I’m wondering how do I work her meals into being out and about I.e at restaurants or on the go ? Also in restaurants how do you go about eating with baby? Of course we do no salt so finding it so difficult as a first time mum as it’s all new to me… do I bring my own food for her ? If so what food is ok to leave unrefrigerated…? When she was drinking milk only I went everywhere now I find myself staying into accommodate meal times and the clean up operation afterwards! I just need a convenient way to feed and clean her when away from home ❤️ please help!

When I’m out I just take something easy with me at this age. My girl isn’t ready for restaurant food yet so I’ll usually just take a pouch and use home made stuff at home x

I've taken food with us a couple of times so didn't have to worry what we would be able to get for him. Took easier cleaner options and a full bib so just a case of wiping his hands and face and put the messy bib etc in a bag to deal with at home.

I always go for a jacket potato and beans although one of the messier foods😂I can guarantee 90% of the time it’s reduced salt beans so I don’t have to worry about her having anything bad. I’m pretty sure a lot of restaurants are happy to whip up something simple if you asked for some chicken and veg etc I’m sure they’d have no issue doing that xx

I’ve only eaten out with my wee one also eating once so far - he much prefers finger foods so I took a banana, some cucumber and some baby rice cakes and he had a couple of my chips to try. Nothing too messy 😂 I just stuck the dirty bib in a nappy bag afterwards to bring home to clean. Pancakes could be an option too?
