@Lissa I just don’t wanna squeeze it on him because of risk of infection. If it was on me I would have squeezed it already but I’m super weary about it on his baby skin
I would just keep the aquaphor and a bandage. Watch it and maybe take him to the doctor. If it is a spider bite like I thought mine was they would know
I’d have a doctor check it out - make sure nothing more severe is happening under the skin
I would bring him to the pediatrician to get it taken care of. It looks very irritated and swollen. Mine had a mosquito bite and it got crazy big in less than a day and we had to get antibiotics, it was infected.
I would definitely bring him to the dr. & good idea about not popping it. I had something like this when I was little, popped it & got MRSA 😬
@Angel yeah I don’t wanna cause an infection by doing so 😢 even as adults were told not to pop stuff on our bodies (even though we do)
I’d use a mild soap and then run a clean saline solution on it (or just wet it and pack on a light dab of salt). The salt basically absorbs the liquid / pus and also helps it remain sanitary. If this doesn’t work I’d use some iodine on it to kill off germs and take it off with mild soap.
@Alicia this reply helps so much. Thank you, I will do this in the meantime until he goes to the doctor.
@Macie my mom’s a pediatrician so I got some tricks from her! Glad this helps
I had something like this on my hand. I put vaseline and a Band-Aid. Let it get nice and soft then I squeezed a hard white thing came out of it. Now it’s slowly getting better. My bf thinks it was a spider bite
