Baby academy classes are good and hospitals do sometimes do weaning classes. Check on eventbrite, also the solid starts app is good if you're doing baby led weaning as well as the above ella books. X
Girl weaning is sooo overwhelming in have 3 kids and every child's journey has been different, ... I haven't used it religiously but solid starts is great 👌 I would say don't pressure yourself , just go with the flow and follow your sons ques x
Baby academy have a free online weaning course and if you have an infant feeding team in your area they usually run an introduction to solids workshop for free, I went on one this week that was really helpful x
Look up solid starts! It’s an amazing resource with a free first food database that shows you how to cut food for different aged babies and very research led
Get a good book - Ella’s first foods is fab and just follow that
I couldn’t recommend our consultant Amanda Marks more! We worked for Breastfeeding & colostrum collecting, and now we are starting weaning, food & sleep at 6 months. Amanda’s programme just works! Worth even to book a consultation… you’d love her! ❤️ links below x https://www.facebook.com/groups/521703411276777/
This book is amazing, gives you a shopping list and tells you what to do each day, how to introduce allergens etc. Did the thinking for me: https://amzn.eu/d/gAhdvwy

Do you have a family centre nearby? Or contact your HV, they'll often run free courses on weaning.
If you sign up to Boots Parenting Club you can get an Ella’s Kitchen first foods book for free. We collected ours the other week and have been following that for my little ones first foods to try! X
