TV time

I had to shower and wash my hair this morning, I've put my 3 month old in his bouncer watching Ms Rachel 🫣 i can still peep and see him. Just googled it and it says not to let under 2 year old have any TV time! He rarely does, just when I need to get stuff done but now feel really bad Anyone else do this? X

I think it’s all personal choice, my eldest will be 2 in February and he loves watching Ms Rachel, the teletubbies (more recent) and super simple songs. It’s only in moderation and he’s hit all of his milestones for the 2 year review already. As long as it’s not constantly the only thing entertaining them, I don’t see the issue if it helps you get stuff done x

I have started having to do the same as I can’t leave my little girl on a playmat without me being next to her as we have a dog. So she goes in her bouncer and watches a bit of tv when there’s the odd thing I have to get done! I think if it’s just for that purpose its absolutely fine xx

I have twins and put sensory thing on the telly for them when I need to get things done. only one really enjoys it but it keeps them occupied whilst dad is at work and i need to get things done. the internet knows a lot but not everything. every baby is different. and if it helps you then it helps you 😊

Girly do what works for you! I put some dancing fruits on now and again for my little one, I did the same and googled and then saw everyone saying I should be doing other things with my baby not letting them watch telly, but I’m pretty sure our mums and dads did the Same with us when we was little and we are all fine xx

My bouncer has hanging toys, so keeps my little one entertained, they are pretty happy just looking around, don’t need TV at this young age, it’s good for babies to get use to not needing constant stimulation too x

Do what works for you. All babies have different temperaments and whilst some babies may be happy lying on their play mat or looking at dangling toys in their bouncer for longer periods, others babies won’t and need more stimulation.
