Question

Hi mamas! I found out yesterday that I have GD and was given my kit today, however im new to all of this and don’t understand it much. Does anyone have a list of what the ‘normal’ numbers should be or where I could find this? I’ve just done my first reading after lunch and want to know what numbers to look out for.

It is daunting when first get diagnosed to get your head around it all. And it’s all a bit of a trial and error with foods on how they affect you as everyone is different and have different triggers. The numbers you’ve put in the picture are the same as I got given, and shouldn’t be below 4. Feel free to message x

It really is, it’s all so confusing. So I had for my first ever reading an hour after lunch, 4.9 im guessing that’s good? X @Courtney @Carrie

Yeah anything below 7.8 is good 😊 x

Yeah that is a good reading, it may be that you’ll be able to increase the amount of what you had too. Some people get high fasting readings and a snack before bed can help lower it.

Have you been told to download the gd-m health app? As that also shows you if the reading is in range or not x

@Courtney yes I have but I haven’t yet had a chance to look at it x

@Dominique perfect, thank you! X

@Carrie okay. That’s good to know x
