I would take your time sizing her up lol as long as it’s not physically bothering her. Bc the bigger the size the less pampers the more you have to buy them 😫
@Megan omg no🤦🏽♀️😂 i don’t understand sizing it makes no sense! Hers don’t leak as of now so she’s also teeny tiny she was a preemie. So i just extra stress 😂
To be honest, I don’t care about the pounds, I just change the size when they start lo leak during the night or if is too tight around the legs, and that always works for me 🤷🏻♀️
@Aleyah this is did know the bigger they are the more you buy😫. They don’t seem to bother her as of now so I’ll stick with 3’s
Lol my daughter is super tall for her age so she’s been using size 5 for a while. The size 3/4 fit her perfectly fine around the waist but are way too short and come down too low 😭 She’s 28lbs
@Riss my son was born at 33 weeks. But he grew fast. Also he was 5lbs at birth but he grew 2lbs every month somehow.
@Megan yeah 32 weeks for her. If she’s gaining weight i dont know where 😂 cause she looks the same to me
Last time I weighed my son he was 30lb and he’s 38 inches tall. Somehow he’s a big boi. My niece was born at 28 weeks and when she was 3 she was 25lbs and 30 inches. But my nephew, idk how but he was born at 34 weeks but he was 10lbs. Supposedly for him it was because of gestational diabetes. They couldn’t control her blood sugar at all. They said that’s why he was bigger. My niece is still small for her age but only slightly, she’s 5 now. My nephew is 7, but he’s big for his age still.
@Megan yeah i think she’s just gonna be tiny. Girl will eat breakfast all day long and now dinnertime she’s as picky as can be. Some nights it’s just veggie straws and a pouch
@Riss my son still does formula, not solely but, he won’t eat anything at breakfast. He eats lunch and dinner. So we’re still at formula for breakfast and before bed. I had tried to switch him off formula but he lost 4lbs and his doctor was worried about it and told me it was okay for him to continue formula. Most of the time he only eats meats and veggies. He doesn’t eat rice at all, likes spaghetti but no other pasta. Broccoli is top veggie to him. But even if I try to give him broccoli for breakfast, he won’t touch it.
@Riss and the only fruit he likes is apples. I’ve tried others but he only eats a bite or two then he’s done.
@Megan totally get it. She won’t eat fruits either i can put blueberries and oatmeal in her pancakes and she’ll eat it. She’ll eat apple chips too but not fresh. Im convinced it’s a texture thing. Definitely will eat rice only cilantro lime rice though, chicken and ground beef in taco form. She did like salmon but the last couple times i made it she won’t even touch it. Chicken nuggets and bagel bites too. She won’t touch veggies either unless hidden
@Riss my son only eats apples if I slice them thinly on the mandolin. If I try to give him regular sliced, even thin sliced, it’s not the same. 🤣 kids have their preferences. Thankfully my son will 💯 just about any veggie I put in front of him. He doesn’t like eggplant though. Also he won’t eat bread unless it’s a tuna sandwich. Also he won’t eat anything on a plate. It goes straight on the table. If I put it in a plate or bowl, he will dump it on the table first. If I give him a little bowl or cup of snacks, he will sit down with it, put it on the floor then eat it. Idk what his issue is with dishes, be he ain’t having it. 🤣
@Megan if she ate veggies and fruits fresh i would be happy lol. Although just eating in general I’d be happy with. Kids are crazy with their preferences 🤣 she’ll eat on her plate but definitely not always
Once she gets to 25lbs, switch her. Or do what I do, one size for day, one size for nights. Smaller ones are cheaper, so I use those during the day cause I change him often. During the night he sleeps through the night. Did you look at size 5? They’re generally 28-38. It’s so terrible. But if you’re not having leaking issues just keep her in the smaller size until she starts getting close to the “max” of the size then size up.
