Lovenox

Has anyone used lovenox to prevent miscarriage? My doctors want me to try it after repeat miscarriages. Wondering if anyone else has had success going this route. I am trying to be hopeful🤞🏼

No I haven't tried anything to prevent mc, have they told you what may cause your mc?

My fertility clinic prescribed lovenox to nearly every patient. It can support implantation and there is research evidence that it prevents miscarriage. I haven’t had a miscarriage, but did have a successful pregnancy taking lovenox for 12 weeks 🥰🤷🏼‍♀️ definitely worth the try!

Oh ok was curious, I'm trying for #4 (I'm now 43 and have a bicornate uterus, but had 3 successful pregnancies in the past) but had an odd cycle this time assuming due to my age. I have never heard of this , hence why I comment on your post, thinking it might help and can talk to the dr

I’ve been on Lovenox as part of my infertility regimen on and off for almost 5 years. They always put me on it when starting IUIs, medicated cycles, and before transfers with IVF. It turns out that I have a lupus anticoagulant clotting factor so I take Lovenox all through treatment and then all through pregnancy. My doctors induce me before due date so that I can get the Lovenox out of my system before birth to reduce bleeding risks. I’ve got a healthy little boy and a little girl due in the next two weeks. Her induction is scheduled for January 2nd. Lovenox isn’t fun (the needles tend to be dull and can cause bruising) but it made a big difference for me.

Amazing! Really trying to keep the faith alive that adding it in will make the difference. Def not looking forward to extra shots for such a prolonged period of time but it will be worth it if it works🥹

I had two back to back pregnancy losses with IVF. My third pregnancy was the only one I was on Lovenox, he’s currently three month old! I think that was what made a huge difference in my protocol
