Stretch marks and how you get them are mostly genetic mama it’s okay to embrace them you are beautiful.
It’s my first pregnancy too, I been using bio oil after everytime I shower (1-2 times per day) and I haven’t got any yet hoping it stays this way. Also have Burt’s bees mama belly butter, palmers skin therapy oil and palmers stretch mark lotion. Mostly just using the bio oil tho and belly butter, btw ur beautiful girl I love ur smile!
Nothing is going to prevent them because they’re genetic. You can prevent making them larger and deeper sometimes with the oil and not scratching. Keeping the skin moisturized will mainly help with the itching so you don’t make them deeper. Some stretch marks fade after your skin goes back and some stay. Unfortunately, all these creams, oils, and lotions are gimmicks saying they’ll prevent them.
Bio oil is supposed to be like the holy grail of preventing and diminishing stretch marks so that’s what I’ve been using but I think I will still end up with a few because I can feel my skin stretching and itching 🥲 you look beautiful btw!!
Best product will be Mederna for scars that’s essentially what they are and like Nani said it’s genetic so sadly not really preventable but continue hydrating and moisturizing
I'm a huge palmer coco butter fan they have stretch mark formula too. I've been using for years even before pregnancy and it has been the best lotion I've ever used. I also just got their pregnancy face cream I'm excited to try!
