Changing from carrycot to upright chair

Has anyone else changed from a carrycot to an upright chair but facing you? My little boy is 15, nearly 16 weeks and hates the carrycot as he likes to be nosy 😂 and look about. This means we end up having to put him in the carrier, but he is getting so heavy so isn’t good long term and was wondering if the upright chair attachment would be better for him so he can be nosy this way and look about more? I was wondering if any other mums have switched their baby to this attachment already - I just worry about doing it too early. Thank you 🥰

My little girl is 15 weeks and I tried her in the chair facing me and she LOVED IT!!! Try it, I bet he’ll love it💖

Were going to switch over tomorrow ☺️

I’m going to be honest and say I did it when my little one was 10 weeks. He absolutely loves it. He used to scream in the carry cot!

My little boy grew out of his carrycot. He is on the 98th centile for his length 😅 he has been in the chair attachment for weeks and so much happier as he has room to kick about, we just lay ours quite flat

Also about to switch over today haha. My son hates the bassinet bit on his pram. The upright bit reclines loads so I’m giving in 😂

My little boy is 14 weeks now we did the switch at 12 weeks! He honestly loves having a good look around, and it lays flat too 😊

We switched at 6 weeks, but only because she hates the car seat and carrycot. Would scream her head off. She loves the seat unit

Thanks girls! I’ve given it a go today and he absolutely loved it! What a relief! X

@Emma aw I’m glad he did!! This gives me hope, we didn’t get to go out today due to crap weather but I hope my son likes his too 😂 x
