Neighbor stole our wedding gift

It's still annoying. But my husband's nan had sent a package to us after our wedding and this parcel was mistakenly sent to our neighbour's house about 1 to 2 minute walk from us. We got the picture and knew exactly whose house it was. My husband went to this neighbours house to get our parcel and lo and behold, she have already ripped our marriage congratulatory card, already put up the flower in her vase in her living room. Hubby asked of the money that came with the card and she said there was none. Mind you this lady is a rich lady with a nice house and we live in a flat. Social status does not mean decency.
