Yeah, my girl isn’t babbling at all 😅 granted she was born at 37 weeks and growth restricted. Maybe I need to give her those 3 extra weeks to catch up when it comes to the milestones. I know the Wonder week app does
@Maya I was also induced at 37 weeks and my baby had growth restriction. But that was the middle of September. She'll get there!
Some babies just don't talk much
Right now I talk to her and she just stares at me like okay. . . 😂😂😂 I figure she will catch up eventually, especially with so many siblings in her face talking to her . How has your baby’s growth been since delivery ? This is my 4th IUGR babe
@Maya she's still in the 1st percentile I believe. She didn't grow at all in the week before delivery because the placenta died. But she didn't have any health issues thankfully.
She's my first, and postpartum hit me like a train 😂 physically and mentally. It's getting better, though, I think.
My girl isn’t even in the first but she’s on her own little curve.
@Maya as long as she's growing that's what matters! How much did she weigh at birth?
My baby is one month and babbles all day i love it 😂😂😂♥️♥️♥️
My baby has been babbling since week 5, but she was also born 2 weeks late, so maybe that has something to do with it 🤷🏻♀️
I’m glad I’m not the only one 😅 my first didn’t so I was confused
Yeah I guess my girl is in that 25% that doesn’t meet all the milestones lol. I know she will talk eventually though and probably never be quiet again
Mine has been cooing and babbling and smiling back since 5 weeks but my daughter did not! She didn’t even start talking til she was 2 years old so you’re fine 😂
Cooing is a milestone at 2 months, babbling is a milestone at around 6 months. Cooing is just those gurgling "ah" "goo" sounds they start making first, then babbling is like "bababa" "mamama" etc.
My girl is 3 months (she came early) and babbles so much! When she's happy, she almost babbles nonstop.
