@Katie how big a pack?
20 😂 over packer here!
From memory newborns go through around 10 nappies a day and you may be in a couple days so probably best to take a full pack!
@Ceri I think there’s 24 in a pack 🤣
A full pack think there’s 22-24 in there sure I won’t run out but if I did then more can be brought in x
Won’t the hospital be able to provide nappies?
@M.J in the uk they ask you to take your own x
@Ceri wow! I’m from the UK but live in the US now, didn’t realize.
@M.J I guess 20 nappies for every baby born is a lot of nappies for them to supply. Do you not have to take them in the US? ❤️
I'm honestly just packing 1 pack of nappies as I'm having a section so then the following day when partner comes in with kids he can get some more as not sure what size I'll need whether 0 or 1
Maybe you get more in US as they pay even with insurance. In UK its all nhs so they need to consider budget?
@Ceri no, I’m not planning on taking any of my own supplies. I work as a nurse in the US and we generally give a lot away to our patients/make sure they’re set up with everything they need. It’s very different, I wish the NHS had more funding. We also pay a lot for healthcare here and I would choose the NHS any day over the expense of it.
I’ve packed 1 pack of 22 size 1 nappies (4lb-11lb) UK based Hope that helps 😊
I’ve packed a small packet of nappies, think about 20 in the pack
I’ve popped a whole pack in just to be on the safe side as I had the room 🤣
