Working out?

My twins are just under 7 months and I really want to get serious about working out. I have a gym membership, and was great the first few months (gentle exercise only swimming) but now have completely lost my motivation and I’m scared I’m losing myself. I’ve dealt with sudden grief of a close relative also, and I’m just struggling how to find time to work out. I don’t have the space at home, and the gym is an hours drive so whenever my partners home with the babies, I could go but find it tiring to do so… Anyone relate? If so advice please xx

Hey Momma! I’m a struggling twin mom also and honestly time management is truly the hardest part. I am now 2years post pregnancy. Twins are freshly 2 and I have managed to lose about half the pregnancy weight. By diet alone and portion control. My delivery was c-section unfortunately, so losing weight is kinda harder and I notice my c section shelf not really budging.

When I incorporated exercise I found the mini stepper to be great!!! I honestly advice buying one the biggest issue is truly finding the time to workout, and honestly find whatever works best for your schedule. Be nap time, or after they sleep for the night, or maybe mornings before they are awake ! Whatever works for you! Of course diet also is important too. But pleaseeeeee give yourself grace your body needs the slow and gradual approach you just gave birth to 2 babies!!!!!!! Not an easy task at all, go you!!!!!

Feel you. Tried everything - walking, running, gym, challenges online, ozempic, etc. what finally worked was a stationary bike I bought off Facebook and put in a corner of our 2 bedroom apt. Whenever twins sleep & toddler is in school I hop on! If you can afford $44 a month you have access to live/pre-recorded coaches & I swear I cry at least once a week while on my bike- so therapeutic! Hang in there. It will get easier. You’re in the thick of it. You just gotta roll with the punches and keep trying things until something sticks! You’re not alone.
