this just started this week and the best way i can describe it is that on my left side the bottom portion of my boob isn’t emptying. doesn’t matter how long my baby eats, if i hand express, or pump. it’ll clog and then i have to massage it and that’s the only time it seems to empty.
Sounds like a clogged duct. I’d start taking sunflower lecithin—it helps the milk flow better and prevents clogs. Take 1,200 mg 3-4 times a day until it clears up, then you can cut back. Also, try a warm compress and massage the area before nursing or pumping. Make sure baby has a good latch and start on the clogged side to drain it better. If it doesn’t get better or you get a fever, check with your doctor to make sure it’s not mastitis!

@Tessa thank you!
Have you applied heat to the area? Either in the shower you can run hot water on your boob and use a comb to literally comb the area toward your nipple. Also the little hand warmers are great to put in the bra in that area
