I wouldn’t go- you probably won’t feel relaxed about baby being close to someone sick and you could do a cosy Christmas at home. I think people would understand your apprehension, baby health is no 1 so no one should make you feel bad if you decide not to go x
Yeah I don’t think I would risk it when that little. You could say no one else touch baby - but in my experience people, especially children ignore it. I’d be wondering more why your sister in law is even bringing her daughter is she still has a temp. There must be more people attending that don’t need to be sick too.
Super hard decision but I’d probably not risk it either unless you can keep baby well away from the 6 year old but you might still feel uncomfortable, so maybe not worth it? We were meant to have family over for Xmas lunch but have had to cancel as one of them has Covid and we have a 4 week old :(
My 4wk old has a cold and cough from me and her 3yr old brother and I'm not going anywhere. Not worth it lasting even longer and with it being winter/rsv/flu season. They should understand. If you decide to go, realistically are you going to be able to stop everyone looking over her or wanting to hold her... especially kids Due to excitement
Could you go but keep baby on you at all times?
