That's good to know! I had a vaginal birth
It’s more a personal choice then, I know lots of people who accidentally got pregnant within the year lol
My daughter was 8months when we found out i was expecting❣️
They say the best gap between babies should be 3 years. That’s the optimal time for your body to recover fully and have everything ready for the next baby. I’m sure its fine sooner than that though
My midwife said the right time is whenever I feel ready. I'm 36 with my first as well
I’m 36 and had a baby in April. I will start ttc in July. I want to have 3 babies now for a total of 4. My oldest is 18.
2 years is the recommended time in between births so your body can fully heal from the previous birth. Get as close to two years as you can. If not then wait 15-18 months if you can.
It's recommended to wait, but if you are otherwise healthy, it's not going to hurt baby. Do what you can to replenish your reserves of calcium, iron, etc, and take your prenatal vitamins. You could make an argument it's better not to wait. Carrying a pregnancy at 36 is physically easier than at 38. It won't kill you to wait a few months, but if it happens, it'll be fine.
I had a C-section when I was 36. The doctor told me the recommended time to have the next one was 18 months later, since the incisions have to be fully healed before it gets stretched out again. But when I done my 12 mo. check up she told me it looks good and I can try again. Cuz the age is also critical. At the end of the day it took us 5 months so I conceived my second one 18 months after the first delivery. :) I think if you delivered vaginally you could try earlier.
Immediately
I think it depends on your birth - it’s not recommended before a year if you had a c-section but don’t think it’s as important to wait if you delivered vaginally
