Whilst, really on the wrong part of the body, my son has 3 spots that looked fairly similar when he had chicken pox. He only had 8 spots in total and the other 5 looked very different. Although not really the season for it, chicken pox has been quite prolific in our area recently.
@Sarah very true actually, her nursery has been going through chicken pox. Do you think it could start out like this?x
I don't really know. My little boy wasn't covered in spots and they didn't itch either. It didn't twig with me that he had chicken pox and I kept sending him to school until he showed a teacher the spots! Whoops! I really wouldn't if I'd have known. He had 7 spots on his trunk and one on his ankle. He wasn't unwell with it either. His experience was so different to mine 40 years ago!
