First time mom in my mid 40s- nervous and stressed about giving birth!!

Hello everyone, I am in my mid-40s, currently 33 weeks and 4 days pregnant, and this is my first pregnancy. It has been a long-awaited journey after several unsuccessful IVF attempts. Until recently, I was managing well, but now that I am approaching the birth, I am feeling increasingly stressed and scared, which i...

Labour alone

Hi I’ve recently split up with my partner and am 31 weeks pregnant. I am absolutely terrified of going into labour and giving birth on my own. Has anyone been through labour alone ? I have no family and I have no friends so I don’t really have the choice. I know I need to be strong for my baby but at the same time I...

do you ever stop feeling the way you do while pregnant?

Hi! Kinda weird wording but, I feel mentally weird while pregnant. Like i just don’t sit right in myself maybe like my thoughts aren’t the same. Idk if it’s the anxiety or hormones or both but do you ever stop kinda feeling this way like do i ever feel normal again or should i get used to this being a parent?

Flying 3rd trimester

Our best friends are getting married at the end of April. I'll be 31/32 weeks. It's a 2 hour flight and we are planning on risk assessing the whole thing (travel insurance, making sure we know where the nearest hospital is and that we can get there, translating a pack of my medical history into Italian etc etc). My ...

How accurate is nub theory

Worried as I’ve convinced myself it’s one gender based on nub theory and if it’s the opposite i’ll feel silly.

Delivery date accuracy

This is my first pregnancy and everyone I talk to says/has said that I will probably give birth a week+ after my actual due date. It seems to be the norm that it takes longer for first baby specifically? I just wanted to check and get a better idea what your experiences were with your first baby’s !

Gender guess?

Dated at 12 + 5. The sonographer was convinced she could tell the gender so just intrigued to see if anyone can guess compared to what she told me? I have no idea how the nub theory works 😂
