Where did you give birth??

Hi Mamas! I’ll be moving to Fort Belvoir area by the end of the month, and giving birth in December/January Which hospital did yall give birth at? Any great experiences, bad experiences? Any military wives have a specific place that accepted Tricare Prime? All and any advice is really appreciated 🫶🫶

Wet underwear 🙈

Nearly 37 weeks and I’ve just gone to the bathroom and seen that my underwear are wet. I’m not sure that my waters have gone as it’s not a huge amount but enough that I’m confused. Is anyone else having anything similar? Not feeling any kind of popping sensation and it’s not trickling if I go to the toilet?

C-Section Essentials

I’m booked in for a c section on Friday if little one doesn’t come before. Those that have had a c section, what are the essentials for after, both in hospital and at home? I want to be prepared, just in case!

Pants for after c section?

I’m overwhelmed by the amount of options online. What are some brands/links for high waisted loose pants that would feel ok after a c section? Thank you!

Retained Placenta

I had retained placenta when I had my son 2 years ago and was removed in the theatre following a spinal. Just wondering if anybody who had retained placenta with their 1st delivery had a similar situation with their next. I really don't know how to avoid it if I were to consider having another. Still traumatised fro...

Latent/early labour

Anyone have a long latent stage? I’ve been having contractions all day yesterday and today, more intense today but triage said as the timings in between aren’t consistent to stay at home. Just fed up now!

Deep conversation

So couple nights ago I had really bad stomach aches and really bad heartburn. I just thought it was normal but it got worse and it felt like contractions that I felt like I should not have had at least at 25 weeks. Next day I made a call to labour hall and they told me to come in immediately. Well I was having contr...

Elective c-section under General Anaesthetic?

I am 37 weeks, still waiting for my appointment for my elective c-section. Due to severe anxiety and worries, I have opted for an elective c-section, but now having research and hearing about side effects of spinal and possibilities of feeling sensation of the procedure, I really want to go this process under genera...

Induced early @39w

I’m being induced early a week today. May sound like a stupid question but would I have to take my hospital bag/car seat etc? Also what snacks/drinks would be best to pack with me?

C-section healing

I’m 5 weeks pp and my C-section seems open still in areas, is this normal. The outer edges are the worst especially where they tied my stitches off. Anyone else had similar or was yours fully closed at this point. I should also probably mention it has been infected for the past few weeks and none of the antibiotics ...

Premature labor?

Not sure what to do.. Starting yesterday my underwear was wet all day with clear fluid that smelled very salty like semen - google says it could be amniotic fluid - however I’m only at 28 weeks as of tomorrow. I haven’t really felt any discomfort or pain for most of my pregnancy tbh it’s been fairly easier than I ex...
