Mums what do your partners do to help day to day life with baby? The balance is way off in our house, my partner is the main provider financially but that seems to be where it ends. Do you have set jobs etc?

I know it's ages away but he is still unsettled/ asking to stay home rather than go to nursery and thats after a year and 4 ...
So I’m due in a few weeks and my sister has offered to pay for a night nanny to help me overnight. We have no family nearby to help and my husband will only be around for a few days then back to work. In your experience, what month would you suggest I get this? What’s the hardest month? I know they are all hard and...

Does anyone know if we have to apply for a code to get the funding when they turn 3 for September? I’ve tried looking on the government website and all I can see is funding for working parents. My toddler was born on 7th September. According to the government website she would start Nursery in January 2026, as she just misses the new term which is annoying. Hi Ladies, I'm due to return back to work from maternity soon, but there's been tears at the thought of leaving LO. I would love to stay home with LO, but I can't help but feel they would thrive more in daycare. Especially being around other children, being an only child at home. My partner is supportive of the ...
Is it to be trusted? How do I cancel my account?
What do you think I should do.... I'm currently a mom ---who is single. I work. I am the sole provider. Every time I am scheduled to work... The daycare seems to always have issues. today- they are closed for two days (today& tomorrow ) because of the snow (flurries ) outside. My boss is frustrated. I'm frustrat...
My nursery has a policy that you just drop them off and are not there. I find that a bit unsettling, I would like to be there for a few hours, just to get a feel of what it's like, what they do etc. Not to lecture them or anything, but I feel like that's a pretty reasonable ask. Or am I being obnoxious?
Hiya, I’m a sahm to a 14 month old. He loves people and other children so I was thinking about enrolling him in a nursery for a half day once a week for him to get some independent socialisation with other kids. I hear it’s good for their social development and also things like speech as well but on the other hand t...
Hi everyone, I want your opinions especially the mamas who have little ones in private nursery already. So my son is at private nursery Mon-Wed (8am-6pm although we pick him up at 5) and in September he can either have these days for free (30 hours) or go to a local school nursery 5 days a week but 9am-3pm. I’m ...
My son has been awarded middle rate DLA for Autism and I have been told I should apply for carers allowance, I am on universal credit and I’ve just read that they deduct whatever it is you’re given from carers allowance so what is the point to claim for it if you still end up with the same amount each month? Plea...
