Projectile vomit after trying hypoallergenic formula

My 3 week old is super gassy, diarrhea, spitting up, and you can obviously tell she is in pain! We had her on enfamil gentle ease that didn’t seem to help maybe make it worse then pretty quickly switched to hypoallergenic to see if that would help and she definitely isn’t as gassy but is throwing up. Anyone have any...

RSV Vaccine

Just been thinking about the jabs we have to take whilst pregnant. My midwife mentioned taking RSV which from my research is very new (only came out in September 2024). I only had whooping cough with my first and I planned on taking it this time around but I’m skeptical about taking RSV. I know how bad it can be whe...

Projectile vomit after avocado

I gave my 11 month old avocado for the 2nd time ever yesterday (the first time it didn’t agree with his tummy at 6 months old) He projectile vomitted about 4 hours after giving it around 5 times. I have spoken to a doctor who said to keep him hydrated and it was probably a reaction to the avocado. He doesn’t have a ...

Anyone else's baby seem to want to suckle to poop?

It can be either the boob or a dummy but he will do hunger cues when I'm 95% sure he's not still hungry (huge belly, big feed etc) and as soon as he starts sucking something he'll do the mightiest shart I've ever heard 😂 he's 3 weeks old now. Wondering if it's a comfort thing like moral support to get this poop out 😂

Telephone consultation for postnatal check?

Anyone else had a telephone consultation for their postnatal check? Even though I didn’t need stitches I still think it should’ve been done in person. I feel a bit let down, especially as the Dr lectured me on how breast is best AFTER I told her I was unable to breastfeed and felt so down and guilty about it when ...

Poo issues

My baby doesn't poo daily. I was advised that she should take movicol every single day until she poos and then still continue. Is this right? Apparently it's not a laxative and it's safe. Does anyone else's baby poo every 2 to 3 days?
