Baby starts grunting as soon as I put her down.

Why is my baby grunting when I put her down after feeding? Last night every time I put her down she did this. She looks like she struggles but not crying. I don’t know what to do or what it is.

Hitting and kicking - help!

My toddler has recently started hitting and kicking us and our cat when he's frustrated. We haven't taught him this. We try to teach him this is wrong but he doesn't seem to understand. I've shown him educational videos about it and explained why it's wrong to hurt others but it doesn't seem to be working. Does anyo...

Frustrated with toys

Are your LO getting frustrated with toys and starts crying? Mine does and I can only calm her swaddling her and giving her the boob.

Laughing

Any tips on how to make my baby laugh? Managed a lot of giggles about a month ago by pulling faces, pretending to eat her lol, raspberries, tickles, peek-a-boo... but now the same things don't make her laugh anymore and haven't heard her lovely laugh in about 2 weeks. Maybe I'm just not very funny 😅

Baby not making much eye contact or smiles @ 8 weeks

I've been worrying about this so I wanted to see if I'm just being silly.... My LO is 8 weeks and he doesn't really make eye contact much with me, he just looks around the room and very much at lights. He also doesn't really smile at me or turn to me when I speak to him. What are other people experiencing? I hav...

Pulling up to stand

Should I be worried that my baby isn’t pulling himself up to standing using furniture? My little boy has just turned 10 months and isn’t showing any interest in using furniture to pull himself up to standing. He will if you offer your hands to him and then wants to walk whilst holding your hands. He’s been army cr...

Autism concerns

Hi all From how ever long I can remember I have been worried over autism. If social media wasn’t a thing and it wasn’t so well broadcasted I know this wouldn’t have crossed my mind as to me it’s all normal toddler behaviour but the big wide web has got me worried sick. I can’t shake the feeling. I just wondered if I...

Milestones

This might be really stupid but what milestones is my 14 month old supposed to be hitting? Everything I read contradicts the next. One says he should be able to hold a crayon and the next says he should just be playing with like blocks. I’m completely lost

When did your little ones start clapping?

My little one started 2 months ago but I've seen a lot of people say theirs has only just started so I'm wondering if she's lacking things because she's working on other things like clapping

7.5 month old puts mouth and bites heads

I have a wonderful 7.5 months old boy who is developing really well. However, his dad and their side of the family are bald and he seems to mouth and then bite (now he has his front 2 teeth) their heads. He does the same to other babies and toddlers too at baby groups, just crawls to them and puts his mouth on their...

Talking and first words

Is anyone’s little ones speaking and saying first words? My little girl just babbles by saying mamama, dadada, rarara and sometimes dedede and that’s it, not a proper “word” yet or associating mama or dada with us! Just curious as she was a late babbler but is speeding ahead with physical and social development! X

Please help.

My son turned 1 10/25 and ever since he was like 5-6 months old he thought it was so funny to be scolded or when someone else was getting scolded. Now he understands a lot more and he literally laughs at me when I’m telling him not to hit or throw his food off his high chair. I’m usually very calm with correcting hi...

Stroller

Does your 3 yr old still use a stroller? I still have mine in my boot and generally use the trike if we have a bit of a long walk like at the zoo or something. I think its time to get rid of the stroller and maybe the trike unless on a lot of walking days, but she does prefer to sit and pushed around or she might ju...

Is your baby crawling?

My boy still isn’t crawling. And more worryingly he isn’t bearing his weight on his feet. I’ve been told to try standing him at the sofa and if after another couple of weeks he’s not ping it then I need to get the doctor to check him over. We do think it’s laziness, but it’s hard not to worry 😢

Toddler saying hurtful things

My toddler who is just turned 2 has started saying I don't love you mummy or won't give me a kiss or cuddle and it really hurts my heart even though I probabaly shouldn't take it personally. I'm a single mum so we're close and I'm naturally very upset by these things. I think he is super advanced for his age and sho...

Baby still doesn't clap hands

My little one still doesn't clap his hands! For months now he's waved his arms around and hovering his hands like he is going to but never actually claps them together. If we do it for him he absolutely loves it and smiles and laughs about it but never does it himself. Is anyone else in this same situation?
