Is this okay for a Christmas Eve box for a 1 year old?

Instead of buying stuff to put in our son's (he's 2) stocking we decided to go through his toys he hasn't played with in a while and wrap up what's still age appropriate and that we think he'd enjoy and put those in his stocking so he has more to unwrap on Christmas without having to buy stuff he m.y or may not end ...

We have always had stockings hanging at Christmas but have never actually used them. I want to make use of them this year. I dont want to put presents in them. Does anyone have any alternative things they fill them with?
