I’ve been on the mini pill for about 2 months now and I’m still having heavy bleeding. My ob/gyn recommended either the depo-provera shot or an IUD. I have never had either of these before. So I don’t know much about them. If anyone has been on either of these could you share your experiences?

I've been put on to the destrogen pill as the GP suggested it was better for myself being over 35. Since being put on it after my 8 week check up from having my LO, I've bleed constantly now for nearly 9 weeks. Is there anyone else that's experienced this at all? I'm going in for my iud today and was told by one of the nurses that I can take 800mg of motrin and 1000 mg of Tylenol together before I go in and another nurse told me just to drink 600mg of motrin. I've heard that your not supposed to mix pain medicine together so I'm still indecisive if I should drink both or not.
