32 weeks today and had to log off work early due to being sick a lot (thanks iron tablets!!) But remember seeing somewhere that taking too much sick leave can impact your maternity pay? Am I remembering this right and can anyone explain a bit more? Not starting official maternity leave until 39 weeks…

Do we get paid for summer holidays as usual and then mat leave starts from first day back at work (September)? Or do they start mat leave in August?
Baby boy will turn 9 months at the end of the month and he starts nursery at the beginning of May, I start work a week later. When do I apply for the funded hours in order to use them when baby starts. As I’ve seen few post where I have to wait 30 days before returning to work before I apply. But if that’s the cas...
Hi everyone, I’m not sure if anyone has been in a similar situation, but if you have, your guidance would be greatly appreciated. I’m from the UK so here we don’t have to pay anything, I’m really curious as to how much people in the US are paying to have their babies♥️
Hey mammas I need your help what can I do to make some extra income whilst on maternity leave??
I really want to leave my job so I can have more time to spend with my baby. I’d need to still be earning some money though and wondered if there were any mums out there doing something similar? How are you earning money from home whilst also taking care of your family? What are you doing? I’d love to get some inspi...
My little boy will be starting nursery in early April which is also when I go back to work. His nursery has said to apply for funded hours in January but I thought I had to wait until 30 days until I’m back at work?
Does anyone know if I would be entitled to maternity pay again or would it be maternity allowance. I think itll be maternity allowance but the midwife seems to think I could get maternity pay. For context, I started maternity leave in Feb last year (2024) and stopped getting maternity pay in November. I am going b...
Confused about mat leave etc. I get 3 months full pay from my job then 3 months half pay. So hen onto statutory maternity pay. Would that smp be for 6 months? I plan on taking a full year off.
How many months is mat leave 8 or 9?
I just wanted to check, I work full time and my works maternity is 3 months full pay then SMP, when I’m on SMP is there anything I can do to claim for additional help. I believe mine and my partners salary combined are too high for UC which is fine but dropping down to just over £700 after 3 months doesn’t seem it’...

Any bad experiences with going self pay? We really wanted health insurance this year but our cheapest quote is $640 a month. 2 healthy adults and 1 healthy toddler. What in the actual fuck! Those of you that are over $100k a year, is that what yall are paying?
Help. I may be losing my job soon, my husband works full time but we rely on my wage as well. Like I normally cover groceries and car finance. Unfortunately no savings and in debt from mat leave (credit cards). We have a 2yr old.. would I qualify for UC in between jobs? 🥺😭
