Maternity leave question

Hello So I started my maternity 5th June 2024. Will 9 months be 5th March 2025? Will that be my last maternity pay? I’m having a year off so will I not be paid after 9 months? My works are not very good at communicating and no support.

Any bad experiences with going self pay? We really wanted health insurance this year but our cheapest quote is $640 a month. 2 healthy adults and 1 healthy toddler. What in the actual fuck! Those of you that are over $100k a year, is that what yall are paying?
