Morning sickness still at 6 months

Has anyone else experienced morning sickness none stop, at this rate I feel like I’m going to feel like this for the next 3 months and it’s getting to the point that it’s killing my appetite, I can’t eat anything most of the time and if I do it’ll come back up a few hours later. Does anyone have any advice what they did to help with morning sickness, I’m so exhausted

Mines not horrible but I still take meds in the mornings for it. Pretty sure I'll have it all the way through this time 🙁. 6 months also

I did with my first. If it goes throughout the pregnancy it's usually HG (Hyperemesis gravidarum) and it sucks so hard 🥲

You should try unisom, my doctor recommended it for morning sickness. I personally didn’t take it because I want to go the natural route and experience everything

I am almost 34weeks and I still have morning sickness. My poor toddler has even held my hair and rubbed my back for me the little sweetie. I did find that sipping some lemonade or kirks ginger beer helped me keep dinner down. Otherwise good luck - at least you have less to go than you've already been through!!!!!

I had morning sickness the whole pregnancy with my first and second pregnancy. I had to go on medication to help, and small meals and lemon water (with no sugar) helped keep the medication down enough to stay hydrated. It was awful, but worth it. If you are open to taking medication I would definitely recommend talking to your doctor or OB about it!

Whole pregnancy, both pregnancies, including during the births. Was hospitalized on a couple of occasions for it, would have stretches of NOTHING staying down for days at a time, sometimes longer. Gatorade with some added ginger helped keep things down once in awhile, but that's it. Not even a light broth was my friend. Sorry you're going through such a rough time!

Mine lasted until like the middle of my 2nd trimester. The whole "crackers and water" did NOTHING for me. What did help me were...peaches. sweet sweet peaches 🍑

I don't have it as bad but yes I still have morning sickness that affects a lot and I'm in my 7th month, unfortunately some women have it throughout the whole pregnancy but if it's just the nausea morning sickness the doctor should be able to help with that but if it's also vomiting it is really hard to work around unfortunately

Prego pop helped me and ginger

I had to have a combination of 2 sickness tablets the whole way through. Everytime I tried to come off them I would start feeling like I was going to be sick immediately. It’s definitely not fun. I was sick all day long unable to eat or drink at first before we got a combination that worked. Eek. Wish you the best of luck in finding something that helps you.

Pretty much yes. (I still felt sick immediately after the birth but I don’t think that was caused by morning sickness) I stopped taking all tablets and I wasn’t being sick so yeah. I would say I went back to eating normally but it took a while as I never had time to eat in the first week. People kept making things and putting it under my nose lol. I hope it is the same for you. Really feel for you it’s awful.

I had it all 9 months. Especially during at night. I used Gin Gins ginger candies dissolved in hot water, like a ginger tea. Wasn't perfect but did help.

My all day sickness never ended. Sorry for the bad news :(

I know the doctor says it’s natural and it’s different for everyone, but I’ve always want and look for better solutions. I want to share with you what I found, it may not apply to you or works partially, but you can explore. I noticed that nausea and morning sickness is related to digestion. As the body is trying to do many things, there’s some traffic jams going on. I take the physicians choice probiotics. I definitely noticed I don’t puke the next day. I also noticed not all probiotics are equal. Only this one works for me. All previous ones did not work, which is why I thought probiotics didn’t work. I also realized that even after taking this, my digestion is still not normal. So I try to eat citrus fruits and add lemon to food. You can also pay attention to anything that would make digestion hard for you. For example: taking iron in certain forms cause digestion. I hope you will find things that works for you!

Whole pregnancy with both my first and second

I am in my fourth month, and day by day my nausea is getting worse, I wish it settles for u. I can feel you.

I had morning sickness my whole pregnancy What helped me was vitamin b6 25mg 3xs a day and unisom 25mg cut in half at night

Ginger everything, especially asian foods. Smelling alcohol (the medical kind) and peppermint/spearmint/wintergreen gum, candy, ice cream. Salt can also help, pretzels were a nice go to, saltines are light. Mac and cheese and other pasta isn't horrible coming back up, so I used to eat that a lot. I hope it gets better for you, be blessed.

I suffered with morning sickness so bad I was admitted to hospital. I was then put on medication (cyclizine) but I would speak to your Midwife / doctor to see what they would recommend. I found gingernut biscuits and leaving my food to go cold helped, so the smell didn't affect me. Hope this helps, and it clears up soon 😊 x

I got morning sickness in the first trimester but it was nothing like in the third trimester. I couldn’t even keep food down most of the time. A combination of vitamin b6 and unisom helped me. ❤️

Anything ginger x

My first 20 weeks were horrible, I couldn’t keep anything down, had to go to hospital. The only thing that got my through to semi function was Ondansetron dissolvable tablets - expensive but sooo worth it. I started acupuncture at about 21 weeks and wish I had earlier too, I truly believe it’s the reason I’m mostly okay now- but I’m still needing to eat toast before I get out of bed, not drink too much liquid on an empty stomach and I can’t stomach water still, sparkling water is a saviour! Goodluck xxx

Sickness all the way through with my 1st. Am 23 weeks now with my 2nd and has only just eased off abit but still don’t fancy much to eat often x

All day everyday with my 5

Havent experienced this myself although when a friens was going through it what helped her was eating very small ammounts constantly throughout the day as then if she got sick she didn't lose all her calories. So sorry you're going through this sending love your way ❤❤❤

speak to the midwife - i ended up being prescribed anti sickness tablets x

I am 34+2 still having morning sickness 🙁

I had morning sickness this long also! Although I will say it was night and day! I literally woke up one day and wasn’t sick any more after that. Stopped around 6 months actually. Gotta make sure you eat what helped me was just eating smoothies and shakes I loved off of them and chewing on gum/mints. Don’t worry!

Maternity reflexology might be worth a try, helped me and taught me safe pressure points to press to help me when at work etc

I’m 29 weeks and still throw up every day. Sometimes we just get the short end of the stick it seems.

This might sound weird but I'm not kidding, drink pickle juice it helps with nausea

I eat pickle chip snack packs a lot and drink the juice and have noticed when I do I'm not as nauseous!

That just dawned on me! Glad I got more snack bags today & they're organic no artificial additives!

Yes! Both pregnancies. The whole time. Try unisom and b6. Eating all day long. Before you get out of bed or move your body, eat a few crackers, get something in your stomach before you get up.

Girl I'm going through the same

I had morning sickness from start to finish with my first pregnancy. I was even sick on my partner during labour 🙈 On the plus side I lost 3 and a half stone (I was obese and needed to!) Currently pregnant with baby #2 and not had any sickness whatsoever. Long may it continue 🙏🏻

Morning sickness from day 1 all the day til I delivered. I would talk to your doc to see if maybe you have hyperemesis. Maybe get some anti nausea meds. Diclegis worked for me!

I had morning sickness from 6 weeks- to the day I gave birth. I couldn’t keep anything down without being prescribed anti-nausea meds. It was awful. Definitely reach out to your doctor.

Sickness is linked to your kidneys and liver not being able to detox the waste from baby and yourself, stay hydrated and see if you can take milk thistle, have a google you can find more information on it and a reliable source to by a supplement from to help x

Try researching plant based pregnancies...

Yup. Entire pregnancy with my second. Almost every day I threw up. Some days it was after EVERYTHING I ate. Had to get on medicine for a bit because I couldn’t even eat crackers. Had baby boy and it stopped instantly 😅

I was sick with both my girls from beginning to end. I was on anti pucking pills but that still didnt help me. I had to eat small meals through out the day. That helped a lil bit bit not much. I ended up in the hospital with dehydration for both. All i can say is talk to ur doctor

I lived on eating peppermint lifesavers and ginger candies for most of my pregnancy

Girl! I had morning sickness every single day! I was in labor, literally throwing up acid because I didn’t eat anything 😭 nothing helped either, I just had to suffer 🤣😂

Get checked for HG! The meds are the only reason I’m able to keep anything down. I’m at 35 weeks and still vomiting everything if I forget to take them.

Unisom and B6 together.

I’m exactly the same. It’s just the worst :( x

Had it 9 months with my first

Nauseous all the way through my pregnancy and for 3 days afterwards. I was on ondansetron everyday, it made a huge difference

Sour candy and mints I popped these literally all day with my first

I was sick for the whole thing the only thing that seemed to help was sucking on peppermint. Even the antipuke pills made me sick

I made sprite ice cubes =/ my morning sickness was paralyzing I couldn't even work until about 30 weeks 🙃

I had morning sickness like this throwing up 3/4 times a day for the first 6 months, and no appetite what so ever. But the last 3 months it did ease up for me, so I threw up maybe once a week if I ate something triggering ect. I just tried to snack (make myself eat what I could) and breakfast was a must (The only meal i could get enough calories) lemons helped the bad taste in my mouth also. I hope it does ease up for you it's horrible
