12 month baby all night sleep?

I just found out I’m pregnant and my almost 12 month baby is waking up every 1:30 hours asking for mom and milk (breastfeeding). What can I do so he sleeps at least 8 hr without waking up?

Not much, unfortunately. He'll sleep through when he's ready. People might say this that and the other worked for them but that doesn't mean it'll work for you. Mine didn't until he weaned after 2 years and 3 months. He did drop down to only 2-3 wake ups a night after about a year which was better but there was no full nights until he had weaned completely

My twins weren’t bf, but woke once or twice a night until we did sleep training at 12 months. I wish I had done it sooner.

For some little ones it’s just time really. My daughter has just started sleeping through occasionally now and she’s 2, I’ve not done anything different.

My first son was similar and one day when he was about 14 months he slept through the night. I was shocked! There is no wrong way to sleep train, I believe there are just ways that are faster than mine 😂. Im 31 weeks pregnant now and I’m gonna do Little Z’s sleep program from the start this time around. I need to for my sanity because I think lack of slept with my first son contributed to my baby blues for sure.

Has he always been waking that frequently or is it a new thing? If its a new thing can be a sleep regression period and he will come out of it soon. If not try routine. Stretch out the feed times, so making sure he has a really good big feed (bf and solids if you're doing solids) before bed. If he is bf every 1.5 hrs he's essentially snacking so will get hungry quicker, if you stretch out the feeds he will have a bigger feed hence sleep longer cos he's not hungry and waking. Then at night you can drop a feed once he's in a pattern of 4 hrly feed and there's your 8 hrs. I hope this helps, sleep deprivation is terrible and makes everything so hard. Keep it up mama you'll get there.

Feed him less at night when he wakes or stop night feeding all together. Two of my kids wouldnt sleep through the night until I night weaned them. Good luck and whatever you choose to do I hope it works!

Ughhh I dunno. I'm pregnant too and my 19 month old still doesn't sleep consistently every night. It's soooooo hard to have patience when ur preggo. Prayers? Help? That's all I can say. I'm literally rocking my kid to sleep right now because he's got some gas crap happening and I have nursing aversion....so solidarity
