White discharge

I'm 39 weeks and 4 days FTM. I lost my mucus plug about a week ago. I noticed I had white thick discharge this morning. Since I already lost my mucus plug is this normal??

They say that it rebuilds itself when it is too early so I would say it is quite normal. However I would ask in your next appointment 😘

I’ve had a similar experience! I’m 39w6d - I’m quite sure I lost my mucus plug last Sunday, but I’ve been continuing to see a lot of mucus - some brownish/pinkish some white. I called the nurse when it first started and she said it was likely due to the cervical exam I had this week. Everything I’ve read leads me to believe it’s normal! I hope it means labor is near.

I did get my membrane swept on Friday could be that then.

Your mucus plug would have regenerated if labour did not start to prevent infection.
