Leaving breastfeeding toddler overnight

Has anyone ever left their breastfeeding toddler overnight? My little boy is 2 and we’ve always breastfed/bed shared. Wondering whether a night away would be possible or a bit too difficult for him until he’s fully weaned.

Following because I’m in the same boat!

I haven’t yet, however I know lots of people who have. Somehow they do seem to adjust when you’re not around. Whoever is looking after them will likely have to find a way of settling them, such as cuddling, rocking etc. Slightly different but same principle - my little girl has been going to a childminder since she was 12 months old and manages well without me then, naps and all 😊

I know this post is older, but I recently did it with my 2 year old (3 in March) and she coped. She stayed at home with her Dad for 1 night (I was away early on a Tuesday morning before she woke up until the Wednesday evening), we usually feed to sleep and co-sleep so it was an adjustment. On the Wednesday before I came home, her childminder acknowledged that her behaviour wasn't the best that day (Tuesday was fine), but she was back to normal the day after.
