I haven’t yet, however I know lots of people who have. Somehow they do seem to adjust when you’re not around. Whoever is looking after them will likely have to find a way of settling them, such as cuddling, rocking etc. Slightly different but same principle - my little girl has been going to a childminder since she was 12 months old and manages well without me then, naps and all 😊
I know this post is older, but I recently did it with my 2 year old (3 in March) and she coped. She stayed at home with her Dad for 1 night (I was away early on a Tuesday morning before she woke up until the Wednesday evening), we usually feed to sleep and co-sleep so it was an adjustment. On the Wednesday before I came home, her childminder acknowledged that her behaviour wasn't the best that day (Tuesday was fine), but she was back to normal the day after.
Following because I’m in the same boat!
