What is everyone asking for/getting for their push present?! 🥳 Or are you not asking for one?

Oh god... Is this a thing??

It’s mostly American I believe, my friend said it to me before and said it was from America🤣

A what??? X

A push present?

A what?🤣 let me know as I’ll have to tell my boyfriend so he can get me one😂😂

Wine. Lots of it! And a girls night out in Cardiff when I can cope with being away from her

Omg! I have a list 😂 so far; a spin bike & Chanel perfume..think I’ll add a new winter coat on too, for those cosy walks with newborn in new buggy 🍁👶🏼

Hopefully a healthy baby and a quick recovery 🙏 that's all I'm hoping for xox

Not planning a push present per se, just asked my mum and my husband to bring me my favourite foods, and I’m going to book myself in for a massage, pedicure and the hairdresser as soon as things are a bit more routine with the baby 😃😂

I’m not pushing so my baby will be my present ha

Genuinely didn't even think this was a thing. Mind blown. All I want is a healthy baby in my arms 🥰 no other present comes close.

I haven’t asked for anything but I think my boyfriends going to get me a new pair of trainers I’ve seen, that is when my feet aren’t swollen 🤣

I don't need any presents, I just need the support after and that will be gift enough...

My son is nearly 4 months and I’m still waiting for mine 🤣🫤

Didn’t even know a push present was a thing! I just want a healthy baby and to have my mum and partner in the delivery room with me

Just some delicious food I’ve missed through having GD would be nice!

Mine came early in the form of an engagement ring 💍, I’m glad he chose not to give me it in the hospital 😂

New trainers 😂

@Jessica Congratulations!! ❤️

@Jessica congrats!

I was too high off meds at the time to realise I got chocolates - thanks for reminding me I’ve had my eye on a new bag 😝🤣

I’ve asked for a pizza (stuffed crust) with lots of pepperoni 🥰 And maybe some of those delightful dipper things you can dunk in the garlic sauce.

The baby at the end of it….?

I bought myself a necklace wirh my daughters hand and footprint after I had my firstborn. Nothing from anyone else, or for my 2nd though 🤣

@Kaya omg that’s such a beautiful gift I would have never thought on that 🥺♥️

@Kaya that’s so cute! Can I ask where you got that from?

I never knew this was a thing I had 2 babies and we never did this or even a baby shower or lastly a gender reveal it's crazy how many things are coming into play.I would just want a healthy baby because that's the best thing in world you need.Lots of ppl never had push presents and they have been having babies for yrs, everything always comes down to money.

@Emma of course it does! Did you know engagement rings are the most successful advertising campaigns ever? They didn’t even used to be a thing… Someone has to create demand. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It’s perfectly fine whether people want to buy into it or not… whatever makes people happy. Most of it isn’t for me either.

@Emma us mamma’s go through a lot during pregnancy, there’s no harm in enjoying things like push presents, baby showers or gender reveals. They may not have been a thing before, but people can still chose to do it now. It’s totally personal choice

@Cal wow really but that's been going yrs thought always been that way.

@Jessica Ik we do and I'm not saying if ppl wanna do this they shouldn't but having a healthy baby is far more important than a present that Is your present. some ppl do not even get to have that so I'd rather cherish that moment.I mean what is (mother's Day for) right right there is Ur push present day I say.

@Emma since 1947 or 1948 for diamonds anyway! It was a campaign by De Beers Diamonds. x

@Emma of course a healthy baby is the most important thing, no competition. But a gift from your partner is also something nice to receive. A push present doesn’t mean that you are ungrateful for your baby

@Jessica umm 🤔 I guess my push present will be thank you my beautiful husband for looking after me through this difficult first trimester and doing all the things I could not do 🥰

@Cal wow I do admit I like the ring tho 🙈 and the baby reveal baby shower cute each to there own but push present noo if you have a supportive partner that's been there helping you every step of the way and been patient till your in second trimester he not need to get me a thing and my healthy baby in my arms is thx enough

@Emma that’s totally fine for you, but that doesn’t entitle you to shame other women who do get gifts by saying that the baby should be enough. Each to their own, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my gender reveal, baby shower and push present ☺️

@Jessica good for you ☺️

@Emma quite literally my point, if it’s good for you then you don’t need to criticize others for their choices 💁🏼‍♀️

@Jessica no not me You like you said everyone has option I'm putting mine out there simple all Money plain and simple baby shower Lovely American idea to come to the UK gender reveal again lovely push present 🎁 (That is what mother's Day is for ) my opinion but everyone is different ppl join the next best thing and then it becomes a thing cant wait to hear what's next 🤗

@Emma you’ve commented on a post which was asking what people are getting for a push present, if it’s not your thing then just scroll past. Also I hope you don’t buy Christmas presents, since that’s not what Christmas is amount 🙄

@Jessica I don't think she is "shaming" other women

First @Jessica I wanted to know what push present was then I was shocked to find out I'm not shaming anyone each to there own I'm untitled to my own personal opinion as someone else's has put Scroll up love and I'm sure others will comment also

@Kaya thank you I'm not each to there own but ppl are going to have an option on this if not me someone Elles

@Jessica and what has Xmas go to do with birth presents 🤔 Christmas for me is giving to see a smile on a love ones face it's not amount the money it's about the time spent as a family enjoying that special moment I'd save up all yr to see that smile

@Emma Christmas is about celebrating the birth of Jesus, but it turned into a celebration where presents are given. Completely agree with you that is lovely to see peoples reactions and enjoying the moment, but that’s the same concept as a push present. My partner saved to buy me a gift to see me smile, whether it’s given at the birth of my child or another occasion it’s the same concept

@Jessica yes but sadly that is a religious thing I'm all for this birth of Jesus which is the true meaning of Christ mas and it's come commercialised big time since I was kid kinda sad but worth seeing kids faces happy. When you put it like that that a sweet kind thing your partner did for you saving up but Hun on mothers day it's just that extra special I felt.

@Jessica I will never forget my first mothers day present a cook book and my ex gave her a pen and helped her draw a picture as she was only a baby so special.

That’s a lovely memory, some people find push presents a lovely memory also. My point is everyone has different feelings on it but as mothers we should support eachother. The lady who posted this was just asking what people are asking for, so the only comments needed on this were the ones answering the question

@Jessica a healthy baby is my only present 🎁 anything else is a kind gift and a blessing

@Jessica om you got a ring 💍 congrats 🥳 now thats a memory
