@Leyla that’s what I said. I had a traumatic birth! That’s great for you, Thankyou
Oh I’m sorry to hear you had a traumatic birth, it really pains me I hear this so often and I seem to be in the minority…. My birth was amazing, calm and natural, at home in the pool and I had no tearing. She was back to back so I pushed for 4 hours so it can happen even if the birth was lovely, when the physio explained it all to me it seems very natural a prolapse happens, affects 1 in 3 women apparently, some people don’t even know they have it! Definitely find a women’s health physio, worth every £! Good luck
What? Too young for a prolapse??? I never heard of that one. I have a bladder prolapse and only became aware 5 weeks PP too, I saw dr and she confirmed it but couldn’t feel it while I was lying down, I had to stand up. I got referred to gynaecologist (here in UK it was 62 week wait) I went privately and after 1 appointment he referred me to physio. GOOD NEWS - the physio has been amazing, in a week I could tell the difference. This was a women’s health specialist and I would recommend just going direct if you can and skip the other steps. She did an internal exam and made me do exercises so she could feel and tell me what I needed to do and also advised me of other treatments including prolapse pants, what the f?!?!?, yep they exist to give extra support! There are pessaries you can wear for support too. I hope you can find a women’s health physio near you
