Supply?

Hi, I need to ask a stupid question.. I set my alarms for 3hours to pump, but sometimes my son is on me at that time so I can’t.. will this affect my supply? For instance, I pumped today at 1am, my alarm went off for 4am but I was already feeding my son and then fell asleep after, it’s now 9:30am and I haven’t been able to pump since 1am, I’ve been feeding my son on and off since 4ish on both side, but I feel bad that I haven’t pumped and don’t want to ruin my supply.. but I’m not sure if it will? Am I just being stupid? Because he’s still eating etc?

You should follow milky mama on Instagram. You’re fine as long as your breasts are getting “messages or orders” to produce milk, so pumping or feeding every three hours is good. If you want a surplus then you can pump after feeding or in between feeding, you will eventually increase your supply.

Thank you Laura ☺️☺️ xx
