AFP blood test
Has anyone had an alpha-fetoprotein blood test done and it came back positive? I had mine done last week (19+3) and just got the results today (+).
I’m going down a dark rabbit hole - my doctor said not to worry and I read there are many false positives, but what a scary feeling.

@Elyssa I had my anatomy scan scheduled for Monday but my dr wanted me to also see a genetic counselor so I was moved to Wednesday. I’m trying to stay optimistic 🥹
@Jennifer oh yeah that best thing you can do is stay positive! Just do everything you can do as doctor wise and see the counselor! Let’s see how this ultrasound goes! You never know!
