Yep. I’m RH neg and both my boys are + There’s nothing to be scared of- it very rarely causes any issues, as long as you have your anti d injections (routinely at ~28w and after birth, and in the event of any possible sensitisation events- bumps or falls, bleeding etc)
I had the Anti D injection at about 28 weeks and then if my LO was positive then I'd have had another one after birth. I was just told that if I had a major blow to the stomach I would need to go to hospital for monitoring and another jab
There's nothing to worry about. This used to be an issue and rhesus clinics needed to exist in order to treat rhesus disease. These don't exist anymore because we know how to test for and prevent rhesus disease, it's just a case of a couple of injections.
