My boy is the same, we swaddled him from week 1 and is a game changer

Our baby girl does this, most of the time unless she’s in our arms she does. If she’s on her play mat, if she’s in her chair, when we’re changing her, in the pram if she’s not asleep. We use a swaddle for sleep and it seems to help as she feels supported

My baby is the same. She moves constantly thrashing her arms and legs around and makes such a noise when she bashes against the next to me. She also makes lots of noises too. I’m going demented

Swaddling might help. I did that to my boy for the first time last night and he’s 5 weeks old and he actually slept pretty well especially since he’s now sleeping in his bassinet. We coslept with him until now because I’m EBF so it made it easier while I was healing.

Highly recommend the love to dream swaddle, allows them a tiny bit of freedom with moving their arms but keeps them nice and snug x

My 6 week old is the same but hates being swaddled, so i tuck the blanket round him tight and i put the tshirt iin the day over his mattress. He sleeps for 5 hours straight.

We now use love to dream swaddles and it’s been a game changer. They’re quite pricey but you can usually get them half the price on vinted (this is what we did) and the ones we got are great condition

Agree with the love to dream swaddles - work really well for my little one xx

Mine is the same but he hates swaddling and I never persisted with it, he moves about a lot and reflexes loads but he’s sort of used to that now and settles quickly enough each time
