Do babies have more quiey days in the third trimester? Or should I be concerned?

Around 30 weeks is when they move around less because they’re running out of room! They can’t kick and punch and whatnot as much.

@Jessica ok cause I'm 29 and 3 days

Mine has been extremely quiet today.

I’m following close behind! But as always, if you’re ever worried, talk to your doc. That’s what they’re there for!

@Jessica unfortunately my doctor isn't the greatest ... she always just says it's normal ... you are fine... she does nothing to reassure me and it gets frustrating... then going to the hospital is $350 eveytime which sucks because I shouldn't care about money like that but it does bother me how high it is

Oh geez! Ask for her to use a Doppler. If she refuses, you can ask her to make a note in her chart you asked for reassurance via a Doppler and she refused. Maybe that’ll change her tune?

@Jessica lol probably... I just want her to sign off on my pdl and I don't care if she is my doctor after..

That would be something for the ER if you think bubs is not doing good. Not good to wait for an appt for something like that and ER people can do more to ensure that baby is safe

@Hannah Brooke Oh, I would think the OB would make time in the day to do a check up. 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Jessica I’m sure some would, but definitely not all 😅 On my phone line, it says if you think it’s an emergency to go to the ER. And like I said, ER has more resources to know if baby is okay. They may refer you to labor and delivery though to check you out. Idk! But I know you can also call in for advice at my OB, so they could tell her what they want her to do

My OB is always on vacation and now they won't answer the phone after 4pm ... it's frustrating when you thought you had a good doctor to her not answering you anymore

you can always change your doc! 🖤

Keep fighting for that better care! We had to switch providers a few times before finding the right ones for us.

@Jessica I am ... I have a planned c section and she said the earliest I can take leave is 34 weeks should I wait or just find another doctor?

in my opinion, the sooner the better it is to get a new OB. They can get up to speed with your chart, assuming they’ll have access to it, plus you’ll be able to have better care much faster!
