Too wet to use preseed??

How do you use preseed or conceive plus if you’re naturally ‘wet’. We have just got preseed and used it once. My DH says it makes it too wet (naturally I am during O!) I feel like it might be a game changer, first time I used whatever it said on the packet my DH really struggled. Last night I thought I’d use just 1ml and still too much for him 🤦‍♀️
