Thanks Ana! Do I have to avoid caffeine completely? Or is a small cup ok?
You need to completely avoid exercise due to risk of ovarian torsion as the follicles and ovaries grow . Eat a balanced diet . Caffeine is fine . Everything in moderation. Most importantly , look after yourself and listen to your body. Caffeine after transfer ( fresh or frozen needs to be eliminated or reduced significantly ). All the best
I got told to avoid it as much as I could but you can have a small quantity a day while pregnant so I think it would be ok? I don’t drink caffeine anyway so can’t really comment 😅
@L thank you! I workout regularly and know I should cut back any high intensity movement, but thought things like Pilates would be ok. Is it best to just avoid altogether and only walk, for example?
I did yoga through all my stims cycles and had ohss, I was ok, just maybe avoid lifting heavy things or weights etc
To be honest , that’s what I did as didn’t want to risk anything. I normally do weight training and yoga. During stims I just walked , and honestly wasn’t up for anything else cause I was just so bloated, uncomfortable & fatigued . You will know as you progress based on how your body feels. Everyone’s experience is different .
Avoid, caffeine, alcohol and refined sugars as much as possible, try to eat a healthy diet filled with protein and a lot of water. Avoid strenuous exercise and try to sleep as much as you need :) best of luck
