@Patience hey Patience! Elimination communication is basically getting in tune with your baby's cues when they need to go potty and helping them use a potty instead of going in a diaper. You can go all in (no diaper at all from birth!) Or just part time (only catch a few, but still helps baby retain awareness of when they have to go)
I have the one that has a magnet to fit into the regular toilet lid. I would recommend one that has a stool attached so that it’s easy for them to start getting up themselves, she won’t yet obvi but soon than you think and it encourages independence. But if you only have one toilet in the house it can make it inconvenient for you to use the toilet so, think about how it will function in your space.
