Yes, had this in my last (third) pregnancy. I had spotting in the early weeks, then at 16 weeks had a huge heavy bleed, then back to spotting, then another big bleed with clots. I was so anxious, assumed the worst every time, now he’s asleep in my arms and a perfectly healthy 5mo. I also spotted a little with my first pregnancy, but only brown blood and it stopped quickly, all was fine. I had a bleed at 12 weeks in my second pregnancy, only light and would stop and start but bright red, that sadly was the beginning of a miscarriage.
Unfortunately yes, I started bleeding at 7 weeks, went for a scan and saw the heartbeat was told everything was fine. Carried on bleeding for 2 more weeks, not heavy or painful. Called 111 multiple times and they weren’t concerned as I wasn’t in pain or passing blood clots. I was in tears on the phone to my doctor begging to get me in for another scan. Unfortunately at 9 weeks there was so heartbeat and I was having a missed miscarriage. But now 37 weeks pregnant with our rainbow baby 🌈
I had a VERY heavy sudden bleed with clots, and really bad pain…..I am very grateful to say my LO was absolutely fine and she’s now 9 months old. My heart goes out to everyone whose story wasn’t so happy because I was beside myself at the time and had to wait 2 days for a scan. I just wanted to give you some hope ♥️ xxxx
Me! I woke up at 13+2 to extremely heavy bleeding, got baby scanned at 13+3 and she was fine after a full day of bleeding. I’ve bled very heavy on and off since then and she’s always been fine. They’ve classed it as unexplained. I’m 17+3 now, It’s so hard but try and not think of the worst, loss is only 1 of 100 reasons for bleeding in pregnancy. Hope everything goes well for you and baby xx
So one thing that a lot of women don’t talk abt with pregnancy is bleeding cuz we were taught that pregnant women don’t “bleed” I think it’s ingrained in our heads that seeing blood is a huge No, during pregnancy. Bt that’s not necessarily tru! I’m a bleeder, I bled during pregnancy & my baby is/was super healthy! So please don’t expect the worst, it could just be dead blood, cuz that was the case for me :) I have negative blood type so they gave me that Rhogam shot very early so that my blood doesn’t negatively affect my baby’s blood :) bt Im going to be sending u positive vibes. Keep ur hopes up & know that watever happens was meant to happen ❤️
I had bleeding off and on in my pregnancy from 8 weeks until I was 16 weeks. I even had some tissue loss, I was sent to A&E for a scan at 16 weeks and an exam asap and the first doctor that saw me said I was actively miscarrying and thankfully they had the consultant come in to confirm via scan and it turns out I wasn’t miscarrying, I just had a heart shaped uterus and one side was acting as if I wasn’t pregnant while the other side of my uterus had my baby in it. She was perfectly fine & healthy. She’s three weeks old now. It’s very scary to see blood during your pregnancy and easy to get caught up in negative thoughts but try and keep positive!!
I had this twice. Once was a miscarriage however the second time was subchorionic haemorrhage and baby was absolutely fine. Sending best wishes to you x

@Jessica With my miscarriage, yes. Hope it’s good news for you 🤞🏻💖
Yes unfortunately I have. I had two miscarriages after my son and it's heartbreaking. Hopefully I will be able to have my rainbow baby someday.
