Help with weaning engorgment

I am quitting pumping cold turkey at one week pp and as you can imagine I’m all sorts of uncomfortable. I’d like to dry up as quick as possible for a number of reasons. I’m already using Sudafed, ice packs, and I even quit pumping before my milk fully came in. Any tips and tricks? Holy grail products? Any other ideas? Im open to pumping a little longer to ease discomfort, but I don’t quite know how to do it since I don’t really have a schedule I’m coming down from anyways. My mom says I should pump for 30 minutes 2 times a day for another week and it will dry me out, but that sounds like a recipe for disaster to me, especially since I wasn’t even pumping that much before I stopped. Any ideas and advice are appreciated.

Oh can I ask why you’re quitting cold turkey, please? I haven’t decided whether I want to exclusively pump or just do formula, looking for someone to share their experience especially this early into the process. If you don’t mind of course. Best of luck other wise!!

Tight sports bra day and night. I also did tea from Amazon and cabbage leaves, just in case! I think I also got a lotion on Amazon that’s supposed to help. It went away in 10 days

@Polina of course. It’s just really bad for my mental health. I have ADHD and anxiety so postpartum is enough stress for me already. After trying to breastfeed my first, I knew I didn’t want to use breast milk at all because of how it made me feel. I’ve heard about ADHD and D-MER being linked, but I haven’t cared to be diagnosed because I know how I feel and I don’t need a diagnosis to justify stopping. I wanted him to get the colostrum in the beginning so I pumped it for 3-4 days before stopping. The engorgment has been tough, but he barely lost weight in the beginning so I’d say it’s worth it and it’s my plan with future kiddos.
