I’m so grateful to stay home with my son as well, he is the best thing that’s happened to me but it really is isolating. How are you doing today?
@Victoria I’ve been okay. My husband is away for some military training rn, so definitely feeling overwhelmed with my twins. But surviving lol🤣
@Bella oh really?
@Bella kudos to you girl! I couldn't even imagine being home with twins, alone 🫠
I'm in CT and quit my job to be a sahm. I love my girl but it is a lot and definitely very isolating.
Going out every day helps me.
Yea I try to but my boy is almost only 3 months
Yes and no at the same time because I'm introvert person and I love being alone but I sometimes do like to chat and hangout but maybe only once in while not at the time Lol
I live in California. I am so grateful to be able ti stay at home with my girls. I have been a SAHM for 4 years. I do feel lonely and I have 3 daughters. I have learned to enjoy my own company a lot and really know who really cares about me.
Pretty much every day and other people who work outside the home think I’m just sitting home in a bubble bath eating bon bons!! I really need to get more consistent with making sure my kids do what they can for themselves!! Otherwise once they wake up it’s like they feel like they need to give me something to do!! I seriously think they just feel like they need to constantly ask me for something.. I’m hiding in bathroom now and all 3 just came to door 🙈
Definitely feels lonely quite a bit. Just had a newborn a couple of weeks ago and have a 2 year old.
@Victoria do you have a baby carrier? Whenever id feel overwhelmed when my daughter was around that age I'd just bundle her up and go for a walk. It helped us both honestly, because she'd end up taking a nap (she was a horrible sleeper) and I was able to clear my head.
@Aamira no I don’t actually, I should probably invest in one of those
@Kathryn my little one is almost 3 months old and now he is fighting to take a nap and then he becomes fussy and I’m the one that’s home dealing with it and I get so overwhelmed.

I’ve been home since 2020 and didn’t have my son until March 24. So I guess I’m just used to it. We go out for coffee with friends, hang out at friends houses, go shopping, for walks, exploring the city near us, story time, etc. you just gotta find things to go do.
@Victoria ive got a 15 week old and today I swear he slept for 40 minutes over the course of the entire day. Everytime I laid him down he woke right back up 😅
@Alice mine probably slept for like 20 mins the entire day and kept fighting it.. he finally went to sleep around 6 30 pm!! Meanwhile his father gets to stay at work and drink while i take on all responsibilities
Yeah I feel lonely. I also feel frustrated that I don't make my own money anymore.
I’m from Texas, and I definitely feel the same! I’m grateful to stay home with my babies, but it’s also so isolating sometimes.
