@Cerys Thank you 😊 I could just be wrong, I'm being poked and prodded alot lol. It's currently the midwives giving the injection. Might need your help if I have to do them at home too 😐 so thanks for the offer of adive too x
Personally if I thought I’d potentially had 2 if miss tonight’s anyway and continue tomorrow. You won’t be in any danger from missing the one, it’s not ideal but it’s better than having more. My inbox is always open, feel free to reach out x
@Cerys Agreed. I was worried maybe I needed to take something to counteract the medication if I'd had too much. But if not I can relax a bit and speak to the midwife tonight about skipping the dose. Thanks hun you've relaxed my mind a bit now x
Sorry, late reply I know. But no, you’ll be absolutely fine. In most cases the medication is only reversed if it’s absolutely necessary. In 7 years of blood thinners I’ve only had a dose reversed once. I’ve often missed/skipped doses and as long as you keep your midwife/anticoagulant nurse in the know you’ll be absolutely fine as they can control it. Hope all is well with you x
Hi! Long time user of blood thinning injections here 👋🏼 I’ve never done this but it is discussed, and I’ve always been instructed that if I take a double dose I need to skip my next dosage and resume from the following. So from this you’ve had 2 this morning, skip tonight’s. And continue tomorrow as you usually would every 12 hours. Feel free to dm me if you ever need! X
