I feel lonely but I'm not a single mum. I work full time and have 3 and 7 year old girls. I have not managed to make proper friends since having children. I don't really have much time on my hands but still feel lonely.

I go to a few babygroups and listen to music, watch films anything that piques my interest. I'm still on maternity leave and I'm loving it 😀 especially in summer my house is nice and cool

I’m not single I’m married but I do have a couple single gfs attend my Friday salsa classes when they don’t have the kids. Find a hobby that you can do when you don’t have the kids - there, you will find friends also. Latin nights dancing salsa and bachata is a great way to have a place to go to consistently and 99% of the time I go alone- as does everyone else there, coz it’s partner dancing. Even when I do bring a friend I can’t spend all night w her anyway, I can chat and have a drink in between dances. And then we dance together when the Reggaeton music comes on at 11.30. My state holds lots of Latin or salsa festivals during the day but the classes and social nights are at night. If you don’t wanna do that, join a local FB women’s group- I’ve met 3 on there in the 3-4w that I’ve joined the group, it’s purposely for making friends and meetups etc. Find another hobby suitable for your interests- boxing, Zumba, gym, photography group, bingo, poker, Pilates. Heels/pole classes. Etc
