How do I read my OPKs?

TTC for 3 cycles, and I started using the easy @ home OPK in addition to the ClearBlue digital OPK. Why does the clear blue show test show positive but the easy @ home test show negative? I’ve started to notice the easy at home tests are darker in the afternoon, so are the clear blue tests just more sensitive?

I can’t decide how reliable the ovulations tests are. This is only my second cycle using them and I use the clear blue digital but I’ll probably be doing this next cycle if I get negative pregnancy tests this cycle. That said, the main thing I pay attention to is seeing if I have egg white discharge. If I see that then I know it’s baby dancing time at least every other day until it goes away 🤷🏻‍♀️ my cycles are very regular so I’m pretty my ovulation is pretty predictable as well. That’s my two cents!

If the smiley face is flashing then it means high but not yet peak. If the smiley is solid ( not flashing ) then you would be at peak. Normally when I hit peak or get the solid smiley then it matches up with the Strip tests- majority of the time. But I also test twice a day and over the past 6 months I’ve learned my peak is very short and usually happens at night so if I don’t test twice a day I’ll miss it bc the next morning it’ll look like yours.
