Road trip toy suggestions

Hey Mamas! We are planning the first tour with our 8 month old in our campervan over the summer and will have lots of time on the road. We are factoring in plenty of stops for LO but I think it's unrealistic to hope she'll sleep whenever we are in the car 😅 can anyone recommend some fun toys/distractions for while she's in the car seat? Ideally nothing with a screen. Thanks!

You can always try the hanging toys too those are in her age range and if she like lights and music they are very helpful

Thank you so much, that's so helpful!! ☺️ I hadn't even thought of busy boards as I thought they might be beyond her age wise but as you said I can always remove the detachable bits so that's perfect 👏

Yeah I thought about that too when he was that little and it removed anything small n hard just in case but mostly he tried to figure out the zippers lol 😂 absolutely fascinated him.

We did a 2 week campervan trip around France, Switzerland and Italy when our boy was 8 months old. He did actually sleep for a lot of the driving so didn't need much entertaining. But when he was awake, he just had a few of his favourite toys from home, and especially books. One of us would drive and the other would read him stories, play peek-a-boo etc.... and take plenty of snacks!
