Breastfeeding Support - Merton

I’m a new mum and in the first few weeks of my baby’s life I struggled with breastfeeding. I initially thought it’d be a breeze, but to my surprise faced challenges such as very sore, cracked nipples and lowered supply of milk. I was besides myself, left in a very vulnerable position of not being able to feed this little dependent baby due to the pain and stress. I genuinely didn’t know what to do, I began giving my newborn formula but felt so bad as she had dropped weight with the adjustment to now using a bottle, she needed more. So I called every breastfeeding help number and found the Merton Breastfeeding Team. I just wanted to share that they really changed our lives, the information they provided was so brilliant, I’d say scientific, my bubba is exclusively breastfeeding now and she is a strong healthy 3 months!
